Brighter were a trio from Brighton led by singer, songwriter and guitarist Keris Howard with old school-friends Alex Sharkey and Alison Cousens on bass and guitar respectively. They released four singles and an album on Sarah Records. This is Half-Hearted (Sarah Records 7" 1991), their fourth & last single. Grey Parade were formed 1982, Grays, Essex, and this is Flags Are Burning, from their sole LP The Reason (Plan B Communications 1985).
I 4 Di Lucca was an Italian band of the 1960s, and this is Estate Blu (Jolly Hi-Fi Records 7” 1966)), their seventh and penultimate single. 60s euro-pop perfection. Enjoy!
We conclude with a double-bill from Kathe Green. An American singer, composer, actress, model. Born September 22, 1944 California. She is the daughter of composer and conductor Johnny Green and Bunny Waters. She dubbed all of Mark Lester's singing in the film "Oliver!" (1968). From her first album Run The Length Of Your Wildness (Deram 1969) we have Primrose Hill (alos 7" single Deram 1969), and then Only a Fool. Until next week …
