We start with Washington state's fore most 60s garage band The Sonics, and the song The Witch (Etiquette 7” 1965), which also on debut LP Here Are The Sonics!!!  (Etiquette 1965)
Next up, Sway, formerly a four-piece noisepop outfit from Ventura, California, and Us Girls (Pop Rennaissance Records 7” 2004), also on debut LP Sway (Sillas Famosas 2000)
Tirez Tirez was an American rock band led by composer / performer Mikel Rouse, the band's only constant member. The group was active from 1978 through 1988, and had a new wave/art rock sensibility that was strongly influenced by minimalism. Here's track My Mistake, from fifth and final LP Social Responsibility (Primitive Man 1987)
Wax Heroes are an Italian Punk-New Wave band from Treviso, and this is Win By Losing, from their sole release, the Sher E.P. (Electric Eye 7” 1983)
We conclude with 60s L.A. legends The Byrds. First, debut single Mr. Tambourine Man (CBS 7” 1965) and then I'll Feel a Whole Lot Better, the B-side to their second single All I Really Want To Do (CBS 7” 1965), both from their debut LP Mr. Tambourine Man (CBS 1965). Until next week ...
