We start with the wonderful Beach Boys, and awesome single The Little Girl I Once Knew (Capitol 7" 1965).

Next up, British film composer Richard Rodney Bennett, and his haunting Anya's Theme, from Billion Dollar Brain (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) (United Artists 1967). The high pitch is not from a Theremin but from musical instrument ondes Martenot

Next up, Canadian artist Haley Bonar, with the excellent Kill The Fun, from her LP Last War (Graveface/Memphis Industries 2014)

Now for an all time classic from Curved Air, an English progressive rock group formed in 1970 by musicians from mixed artistic backgrounds, including classical, folk and electronic sound. The resulting sound of the band is a mixture of progressive rock, folk rock, and fusion with classical elements. Here's their hit single Back Street Luv (Warner 7" 1971), from their second LP simply titled Second Album (Warner 1971)

We conclude with  a brace from Chromatics. First, Kill For Love, the title track to their fifth LP Kill For Love (Italians Do It Better 2012) and Move A Mountain, from their tenth LP Closer To Grey (Italians Do It Better 2019) . Until next week ...
