Chad & Jeremy were a British Folk and Pop-Rock duo formed in 1963 in London and discovered by John Barry. Chad & Jeremy disbanded in 1968, but they reunited during the 1980s, and again from 2009 until Chad Stuart died in 2020. Jeremy Clyde was of course a famous British actor. A Summer Song (Ember 7" 1964) was their third single, ignored at home but reaching no.7 in the U.S.

Versus is an American indie rock band formed in 1990 by Richard Baluyut, Fontaine Toups and Edward Baluyut in New York City. Richard and Fontaine were to remain the two core members throughout the band's history. Here's the delightful Nothing but U, from their eighth album Ex Voto (Ernest Jenning Record Co. 2019)
We conclude with a brace from The Animals, an English Rhythm & Blues band formed in the early 1960s in Newcastle-on-Tyne (UK). Line-up: Eric Burdon (vocals); Alan Price (keyboards); Hilton Valentine (guitar); Chas Chandler (bass, he later became Jimi Hendrix's manager), John Steel(drums). Part of the British invasion of the U.S.. Here's their second and eighth singles, House of the Rising Son (Columbia 7" 1964), a no.1 on both sides of the Atlantic, and We've Gotta Get Out Of This Place (Columbia 7" 1965), reaching no.2 and 7, hugely popular with G.I.s in Vietnam.
