Georges Delerue - Pierre et Nicole, from the film La Peau Douce (France 1964, director François Truffaut), released on the LP La Peau Douce (Philips France & Canada only 1964), though you can also find it on the compilation CD Le Mépris - Bande Originale Du Film De Jean-Luc Godard (Emercy/Universal CD 2001). I own both film and CD. Notice the brilliant shift to a higher note at 0:38, and the adoring look of love the gorgeous Françoise Dorléac (older sister of Catherine Deneuve) gives at 1:20.
