Salem 66 (website) were an alternative rock and jangle pop band from Boston, Massachusetts. The mostly female group formed in 1982 and split up in fall of 1989, leaving behind a self-titled EP, four albums (the last posthumously released in 1990), two Homestead Records various-artists compilation appearances, and an 18-track anthology of their earlier work. This is a video for Lucky Penny, from their third LP Natural Disasters, National Treasures (Homestead 1988). Brilliant group, criminally underrated at the time.
The Secrets were a 60s group from Kidderminster, Worcestershire, UK that featured future singer/songwriter Clifford T Ward, who released three singles. This is the scathingly unromantic I Think I Need The Cash, the B-side to their third single I Intend To Please (CBS 7" 1967)
The Shademen (website) were from Elyria, Ohio 1964-8, and released two singles.This is Sick And Tired (Of Waiting), the B-side to their debut That's Tuff (Verann 7" 1967)
