Bon Iver is an American indie folk band started 2007 as a solo project of Justin Vernon, but has now evolved into a larger band. Here is track Flume, which opens his debut LP For Emma, Forever Ago (Jagjaguwar 2007)

Earache is the part-Canberra part-Melbourne based project of Gemma Nourse (No Stars, Shopgirl) and David Fenderson (Territory, Sob Story, Cure). Here is their debut single Voices (Lacklustre/Black Wire casse 2018), also on their sole LP Last (Lacklustre/Black Wire 2018). Check their Bandcamp page.

Next up, an all-time classic from Eddie & The Hot Rods, a punk rock band, formed in 1975, from Canvey Island & Southend, Essex. Do Anything You Wanna Do (Island 7" 1977) was their sixth single, and the only one to reach the Top 10 in the U.K. Also from their second LP Life on the Line (Island 1977)

Jackson C Frank (né Jones; March 2, 1943 – March 3, 1999) was an American folk musician. He released his first and only album in 1965, produced by Paul Simon. After the release of the record, Frank was plagued by a series of personal issues, and was diagnosed with schizophrenia and protracted depression that prevented him from maintaining his career. 
Frank spent his later life homeless and destitute, and died in 1999 from a combination of pneumonia and cardiac arrest. Though he only released one record, he has been cited as an influence by many singer-songwriters, including Paul Simon, Sandy Denny, Bert Jansch, and Nick Drake.  Here is the brilliant I Want To Be Alone (Dialogue), from the LP Jackson C.
