Space Precinct: Episode 7 Body & Soul

Officer Brogan takes his son on a trip to investigate a returning asteroid. On it they find an abandoned spaceship. And on that, a corpse.

The ship was an experimental craft designed by reclusive millionaire, the Howard Hughes-like Alden Humes (Bob Sherman). The plot then follows a predictable line seen in many other shows. Is the recluse real, or an imposter? Who really holds power? Humes or his eminence grise, his major-domo? And who was the corpse on the ship?

Guest star Bob Sherman is very good as Humes, especially in his desire to be fully human, and his fondness for Brogan's son. The models and set design are excellent, but the episode is let down by the derivative plot.
