Asylum Party were a French band founded in 1985 in Courbevoie by Thierry Sobezyk (bass, vocals) and Philippe Planchon (guitar, vocals), later joined by Pascale Macé (keyboards), Asylum Party was part of the so-called Touching Pop movement together with Mary Goes Round and Little Nemo. They disbanded in 1991. Julia comes from their debut LP Picture One (Asylum Yield 1988)
La Luz are a current band from Seattle, WA, and this is You Disappear, from their second album Weirdo Shrine (Hardly Art 2015). Buy here
Next, Passengers with Luciano Pavarotti and the haunting Miss Sarajevo (Island 7"/CD 1995). With the war in the Ukraine, still timely.
I know nothing about Peter Wheat & The Breadmen, but here's their sole release, single  All The Time (Amber 7" 1966)
We conclude with a brace from Siouxsie And The Banshees, and the offiical videos for the two singles taken from their third LP Kaleidoscope (Polydor 1980),  Happy House (Polydor 7" 1980) & Christine (Polydor 7" 1980). Brilliant! Until next week ....
