The New Left released two singles also, and again we play the second, All for You (Kingpin 7” 1985)
We conclude with Newport Rhode Island’s finest Throwing Muses (website), with two tracks from their first two UK only album releases. First, the epic Hate My Way, from Throwing Muses (4AD 1986). Then we finish with And a She-wolf After the War, from the mini-album The Fat Skier (4AD 1987). Both were collected (along with the other UK only release, the Chains Changed EP) on the CD In A Doghouse (UK: 4AD/US: Rykodisc 1998). One of the best US indie bands of all time, and criminally underrated & overlooked. I love them. Until next week …
